In 2019, air pollution caused 307,000 deaths in the European Union. A figure that has fallen by more than 10% in a year, according to the European Environment Agency. More than half of these lives could be saved, if the 27 member countries met the new air quality targets recently set by the World Health Organisation.
LuxMobility has made health and wellbeing of citizens a priority and is working to reduce these figures, in particular through the Clean’Air project that they carry out in the municipality of Differdange (Luxembourg). With the air quality sensors provided by Airscan, they are able to measure the air quality in potentially risky mobility areas. Our dashboard enables them to monitor the data produced by the air quality sensors and to implement adapted mobility solutions!
